Add the water to the bottom of your pressure cooker, then add the green beans.
1 pound Green beans, 1 cup Water
Cook on high pressure for 0 minutes. Carefully use the quick release to release pressure, then remove the lid.
Drain the water, then switch the pressure cooker to saute mode. Add the butter and garlic and cook 2-3 minutes.
1 tablespoon Garlic, 4 tablespoons Butter
Stir in the drained green beans and saute with the sauce, topping it with Parmesan cheese. Serve, and enjoy!

This is a French green bean recipe, but it can be made with string beans, too! Just set the pressure cooker to 1 minute instead of 0 and cut the stems off the string beans first.
This steamed green beans recipe comes with its own seasoning in the form of garlic butter, but feel free to change it up! I also love adding a splash of lemon or a dash of chili powder!
The great thing about this recipe is you don't need to use a steamer basket. This green bean dish is cooked directly in the water!
