Instructions
In a large bowl add both ingredients and mix well with a fork for approximately 2 minutes, and then finish mixing with your hands.
2 cups self rising flour, 2 cups greek yogurt
Lightly flour a flat surface and place dough on top. Knead for 1 minute with your hands.
Form an oblong dough ball and place it inside a floured/greased non-stick loaf pan.
Turn your slow cooker on high and place the loaf pan inside. Cover the slow cooker with a clean paper towel, and place the lid on top to secure the towel.
Cook for approximately 2 hours and 15-20 minutes.
To brown the top of your bread, preheat your oven to 450°F and place the bread inside. Allow just enough time to brown the top portion of the bread, this should only take a few minutes.
Let the bread cool for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the loaf pan. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can use non-fat greek yogurt in this recipe and it will not affect the outcome of the bread.
If you don't have self-rising flour, mix together all-purpose flour (1 cup), baking powder (1½ teaspoon), and salt (½ teaspoon).
Store any leftover bread in a cool and dry place, in an airtight bag or container for 2-3 days!
Freeze bread by wrapping it in plastic wrap tightly and storing it in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
