Place your insert inside your instant pot and place the corn on the cob on top of it.
4 Ears of Corn
Add water and the lid. Cook on manual high pressure set to 2 minutes. It will take ~5-10 minutes for the pot to come to pressure.
1.5 Cups Water
Naturally release the pressure for 5 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure. Remove the corn carefully from the instant pot using tongs, serve with desired dips or sauces, and enjoy!
Notes
Corn on the cob can be large. If you want to use full ears of corn, use a larger Instant Pot such as a 6 quart.
If you have a smaller Instant Pot, slice the corn into smaller pieces before cooking. The cooking process remains the same.
Use a steamer basket or the insert attached to the Instant Pot - you want to make sure the corn does not touch the bottom of the pot.
