Equipment

  • 1 baking dish I recommend a 9-inch square baking dish
  • Cooking spray
  • large spoon for stirring potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large Russet potatoes
  • tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat grill to medium heat. Add garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper to a bowl. Mix together to combine.

  • Grease a baking dish with cooking spray. Cut russet potatoes into evenly-sized cubes, then add them to the dish.

  • Pour olive oil over the potatoes. Sprinkle with a spoonful of combined seasoning and stir to fully mix together, then add another spoonful and mix again. Continue to season the potatoes this way to evenly season them.

  • Add the baking dish to the grill over medium heat. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

  • Remove from the grill once fork-tender and crispy. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Always cut potatoes as evenly as possible before roasting or grilling to insure even cooking.
  • Make sure to stir your potatoes every 10 minutes throughout the duration of the cooking time.
  • Do not cover the potatoes in foil, you want the smoke to get in there and you do not want to steam them!
  • Be sure your baking dish or tray fits in the grill before you start cooking.
