Au Gratin  Potatoes

You will need...

Yukon gold potatoes Unsalted butter Garlic Heavy whipping cream Shredded gruyere cheese Fresh thyme (optional) Salt Pepper


It's amazing!

There is nothing like a dish of herby, garlicky sliced potatoes in a cheesy, creamy sauce, baked to perfection in a skillet.

Flour Bowl

Melt butter in a pan and cook garlic.


Layer the pan with half sliced potatoes, heavy cream, cheese, salt, pepper, butter, and thyme.


Finish with a second layer, topping it off with the remaining Gruyere cheese.


Cover and bake for 1 hour, then uncover and bake another 15-20 minutes.


There you have it, your creamy simple au gratin potatoes. Enjoy!
